Artist's Description
Direct freehand watercolor, from my old photo taken with old Instamatic during a ferry ride to North Haven island, Maine. It is about the only photo of my own and the only photo I use for my art classes etc. Every year in my adult art classes we do a version of the photo. This is painted directly - without underdrawing.
